My vet didn’t appreciate that Thuja had alcohol and indicated he preferred to use versions without it when I bought it for my dogs after they received their rabies vaccinations. What a difference after taking 6 pellets in a tablespoon of pumpkin every day for a week! Almost all of the wart clusters on my dog, who is 10 months old, have disappeared. The veterinarian advised me to wait it out because they generally go away in three months and it didn’t seem to be affecting him, but I wanted a natural solution to hasten the process, and thuja worked perfectly!
Here is what my veterinarian advised regarding the warts for other dog owners out there:
1. Have them examined to rule out malignancies.
2. If the dog is younger than 1 year old, they often go away in 3 months (but take longer if the dog is older).
3. Surgical removal is invasive, carries a high risk of bleeding, and frequently leads to their regrowth.
4. Only infected people should take antibiotics. Antibiotics won’t help remove the warts because they are viral.

Just curious if I contributed to my dog’s death. Last night, I gave my 14-year-old Lab one pellet of Thuja Occidentalis, and an hour later, she began to walk sideways, tilt her head, and move her pupils quickly up and down. Although I believed the symptoms would go away, she never recovered. This morning when we took her to the vet, they suspected that she might have a brain tumor. I enquired as to whether or not the Thuja Occidentalis might have been a cause, and they said that they couldn’t be certain. CJ, as stated in the article, there are various varieties of thuja, some of which are intended to be applied topically and others to be ingested. Most likely, the item you’re referring to is only intended for topical use outside of the mouth. However, I have questioned the business and will let you know their response. It is always preferable to consult a veterinarian before introducing vitamins to a dog.

The Thuja page expressly states do not use around the mouth, despite the fact that you have a photo of a wart in the mouth. That looks incongruous, so. We are desperate to remove a wart that my dog has on her upper lip, but we are unsure if doing so is safe.

My dog picked acquired warts in his mouth that most likely originated from the dog park. They were expanding quickly, so I took him to the doctor. She recommended antibiotics, which I don’t like, but I figured I’d try it and make sure to give my dog a full round of probiotics following. The warts persisted even after spending $160.
The warts started to fade the first week after I heard about thuja, and by the second week, they had completely disappeared. I adore a $7 sure thing! Unfortunately, the vet overcharged me for nothing.

What is the purpose of canine Thuja 200?
Thuja is commonly used to treat lumps and bumps in horses, dogs, and other animals. It is available as a tincture and as a homeopathic treatment. Arbor vitae’s northern white cedar, or thuja, contains an extract. To make our VireX cream, we use Thuja.
General Principles:
The Remedy (one tablet or ten drops) is the same regardless of size, weight, age, breed, or species of animal. Correct potency depends on several parameters, including condition, triggers, symptoms, animal traits, and modalities (what makes symptoms better/worse).
Give two to three doses each day of the 6c and 30c potencies until improvement is noticed. When improvement is observed, this may be decreased for long-term conditions.
OR more commonly after trauma (i.e., Arnica 200c once every 15 minutes during first hour until improvement seen)
OR for behavior issues, twice, once 30 minutes before the event and once right before it.
